Simply log in to littlephil.org to get started. Remember to use your charity manager's login details and not your personal Little Phil login details.

If you need help transitioning from our Portal over to our new Charity Dashboard β€” check out this article to help with your move.

1. Access your Campaigns

Once you have logged into your Charity Dashboard, you will see at the top of the page a couple of drop-down menus. Whilst the others are very important and interesting, the one we're focusing on for the moment is My Charity.

Click on My Charity, then select Campaigns from the drop-down menu.

2. Select the Campaign you would like to share an Update about

Now that you can see all your campaigns, click on the campaign that you would like to provide an update for. For this example, we're choosing Campaign 1.

3. Enter your update

Treat this section like you're uploading a post to Facebook or Twitter. Simply click on the text box and type your update. You can make it as simple or extensive as you like. There is also no limit on the number of updates you can provide for each campaign.

In the age of social media, people love seeing constant updates β€” especially when the updates are about a meaningful cause that they are supporting.

Your updates don't necessarily have to be massive developments either, supporters love to see that their money is actually creating change β€” it could be something as simple as:

"Thanks for your support so far! We have just been able to provide our first Christmas hamper to our first lucky family!πŸŽ„"

πŸ‘‰ Our Little Tip: Simple and constant updates increase a giver's trust and involvement in your campaigns. If a donor sees that you are actively and genuinely working on a campaign, they are far more likely to donate more or share it with their friends and family.

4. Adding an Image

Adding a relevant image to your update not only creates a greater connection between your campaign and your supporters, it also generates more trust. "A picture is worth a thousand words".

To add a photo to your update, click Tap or drop to add an image. This will open your computer's file manager. Find the relevant photo, select it and click Open. This will upload your chosen photo to your campaign update.

πŸ‘‰ Our Little Tip: Photos that clearly show who or what your campaign is helping are the most successful and meaningful approach. Photos that you or your team take are highly recommended β€” stock photos, or general photos that you find on the internet, can be very insincere. Savvy supporters can see right through the generic image and may lose trust or passion for your campaign.

Long story short β€” using your own photos is by far the best approach.

5. Upload your Campaign Update

Once you're happy with your wording and uploaded your photo β€” click Add update to upload your update.

As soon as your update is live, every donor who has given to your campaign will receive an email immediately. It also sits under your campaign for new givers who explore your campaign to see. It's a great way to attract new supporters, as they witness that you are actively working on your campaign.
